Saturday

Last Saturday we were trying to think of something to do to get out of the house.  Although it has started to warm up a little here, it was definitely not warm on Saturday, so we needed something indoors.  It also had to meet the thousand other criteria that have to be met in order to take three children, four and under, into public.  Long story short, Ryan had never been to the Capitol, so we decided to make a quick trip over there to look around.  Clayton and I have been a couple times during Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week in Oklahoma, but we've never had time to just stroll and look around.

Apparently someone was getting married on the fourth floor that evening.  Wow.  What a venue.  I had no idea one could get married in the Capitol.  I told Ryan I was keeping it in mind for my next wedding.  Just kidding.

Self portrait

I've never let Clayton use our camera, but I decided he could probably take a picture.  I mean, it's a good sized viewing screen.  Just line it up, and press the button.  He took this picture and was so proud.  We're going to need to work on the photography skills.

The dome (which we discovered was just completed in 2002... who knew, well, probably every Oklahoman, but if you haven't lived here very long, you just assume it came with the building) was beautiful.

After some pizza in Bricktown these two were out cold for the drive home.  Poor Aaron's hat had slipped down over his eyes, but it didn't seem to bother him.

This one was pretty tired too, though he'd never admit it.
